As Trenton Homicide Detective John Milton counts the days until retirement, he is blindsided by a homicide case of epic proportions that shakes him to the core. All of Det. Milton's previous cases pale in comparison to this new case of sheer carnage, and a modus operandi so bleak, Milton's own sanity is pushed to the edge. With the aid of newly transferred Det.
